Ultimatron lithium batteries offer reliable and modern technology, especially for bow engines and as fun batteries for boats. These batteries use LiFePO4 chemistry, the advantages of which are efficiency, high safety and a long life cycle. The charge level and power consumption of the batteries can be conveniently monitored through the Ultimatron France application, which enables remote reading via Bluetooth. The app allows you to check battery status such as voltage, current and temperature, and track the number of cycles used. This makes the battery an excellent choice when you need an efficient and reliable energy source.
This battery model has a built-in heater that starts when connected to the charger. The heating film is an excellent solution for heating batteries and maintaining thermal balance. A thin heater film made of IP material attached to the surface of the battery cell guarantees efficient heating. The BMS (Battery Management System) heating control function ensures that the battery does not drain. The charger supplies both current and heat, which is important especially at low temperatures.
Operating principle of battery heating:Depending on the ambient temperature, the charging process is precisely regulated:
At temperatures from -35 °C to 0 °C:
- If the output current of the charger is less than 7 A, charging and heating of the battery is prevented.
- If the output current of the charger is more than 7 A current, the heating is activated, and the temperature is raised to 5 °C, which enables safe charging.
- At temperatures above 0 °C, heating is not required and the battery can be charged directly.
In addition, a temperature control switch is integrated into the thermal film, which cuts off the heating current if the temperature exceeds 65 °C. This improves safety and charging can continue when the battery gets above 0°C
This system combines efficiency and safety, which is very important when using batteries in extreme temperatures.
