Planed, rounded edge pressure impregnated board is particularly suitable as a terrace board.
The impregnation class of the board is AB. AB impregnation timber is recommended for use in above-ground structures such as load-bearing structures, terraces, garden structures and furniture, balconies, fences, exterior cladding and playground furniture.
The surface treatment of the terrace is suitable for tinted and non-tinted wood oils as well as transparent wood preservatives. For brown impregnated wood, you should choose a product that is tinted brown.
However, as a natural material, the properties of wood, such as appearance, strength and other physical properties, vary. Depending on humidity conditions, wood may warp and crack, which is characteristic of wood that has been recently impregnated, and especially sunlight can dry it out too quickly. However, cracks often repair themselves and various oils and paints prolong the life of the wood product. Any discolouration of the wood will even out in a few weeks outdoors. However, if well cared for, products made from ecological wood will last for decades.
