The texture and color of the eggs are strong. The eggs are produced and packed at Juva - their carbon footprint is really low, only 2 CO2e/egg kg. The eggs are delivered directly from the farm to Kärkkäinen.
The chickens in our coop fly around the coop and lay eggs in the nests. They enjoy their day sitting on a perch. The chickens eat "local food", the barley, wheat and oats they use come from the nearby areas of Juva. In addition, they are fed GMO-free protein, lime and rapeseed. Rapeseed makes our eggs foam very well. They are excellent for baking.
Paunola farm is a 350-year-old family farm in Juva, managed by the host couple Marjut and Jouni. The fields grow grain for the chickens and also cumin.
