Exit ladder for fire and emergency
Better safe than sorry. There are products you wish you never needed, but would gladly take if necessary. The EL-450 escape ladder is one such product. It is designed to enable rapid evacuation in the event of an emergency or fire. Its design makes it quick and easy to use by anyone living at home. No complications, just fold it open and get to safety. EL-450 fits most window frames. With its 4m/13ft length, it creates safety and egress to multiple floors. The emergency ladder has been tested by us and a third party. As a result, the EL-450 has been TÜV-certified. It also meets the EN131-2/3 standard for ladders.
How do you use an emergency ladder?
A ladder should always be combined with other preventive measures, such as a smoke detector. If emergencies arise, however unexpected, it is good that everyone in the household knows where the emergency ladder is located. An emergency ladder will get you and your family to safety in four steps:
- Attach the hook to the window sill.
- Extend the fire escape ladder out to the facade.
- Carefully position yourself on the first steps of the fire escape.
- Climb down.
