BetaDent is a domestic mouth-moisturizing, lemon-flavored xylitol paste. Dry mouth is a common problem. It can be caused by some diseases, many medicines and aging. It is often impossible to eliminate the causes of dry mouth, but the situation can be eased in many ways. The most important thing is to moisturize your mouth regularly by drinking water. Chewing and sucking and mild acids increase saliva secretion, so for example low-acid lozenges intended for oral care are often helpful.
Dry mouth sensitizes the mucous membranes and gums to external stimuli and increases the growth of plaque bacteria, increasing the risk of infections and tooth decay. Cleaning the teeth and between the teeth and protecting the mucous membranes of the mouth is important.
The recommended daily dosage is 10 lozenges (2 lozenges 5 times a day). Let it dissolve slowly in the mouth. 1 lozenge contains 500 mg xylitol, 60 mg betaine. The declared recommended daily dose must not be exceeded. A nutritional supplement does not replace a balanced and varied diet or a healthy lifestyle.
