This modern combination detector from Nedis detects both smoke and carbon monoxide (carbon monoxide, CO), improving your safety. The detector gives an alarm when it detects smoke or an increased concentration of carbon dioxide with a loud alarm with a loudness of 85 dB. The detector has a fixed lithium battery with an estimated service life of up to 10 years, and a sensor with a service life of up to 10 years.
The new generation optical smoke detector reacts to fire even faster, gives fewer false alarms and is very environmentally friendly. In addition, it has a high-quality electrochemical sensor that continuously measures the concentration of carbon dioxide in the air. Carbon monoxide is a deadly odorless and invisible gas, so it cannot be detected without a detector. This dangerous gas is produced as a product of incomplete combustion and can be present near central heating boilers, hot water heaters or chimneys. The detector complies with the required European standards EN 14604 and EN 50291.
Regular testing of the alarm for proper operation is highly recommended. To make use as easy as possible, there is a large button on the front edge of the fire alarm that can be used to test the alarm.
