The Manfrotto 526 Professional Fluid Damped Video Head directly addresses the high-end, heavy-duty video market by offering a fluid-damped video head, with the ability to support up to 16 kg and counterweight between 8 and 15 kg. It provides a fluid drag system consisting of three-stage settings for low, medium and high drag levels (numbered 1, 2 and 3), plus an additional no-drag setting (numbered 0) for occasions such as snap-pan/tilt. It has a continuous counterweight system for weights between 8 and 15 kg at 125 mm C.O.G. The built-in 100mm hemisphere adapts to a number of our tripods, enabling quick camera leveling using the spirit level.
The 645 FTT Fast Twin Alu Tripod features a double leg tube, and Ultra L-Lock lever technology for the most robust support ever. The stand is fitted with a 2 in 1 hemisphere: a standard 100mm bowl together with a 75mm adapter to enable the use of a wider range of video heads. It also has a center diffuser lock. However, the 3-angle selectors make the use of a spreader a matter of optional preference. This range has been developed with the primary aim of facilitating videography by reducing setup times and maintenance. The synchronized closing mechanisms between the upper and lower locks allow videographers to control the entire tripod leg with a single lock, and get to work in record time. The new stand provides maximum versatility, supports the use of a wide selection of heads, and ensures maximum rigidity while being extremely light.
