Alkaline detergent concentrate containing ammonia.
Sheet metal washing treatment and subsequent water rinsing remove zinc salts, grease, dirt and other impurities from galvanized surfaces that must be removed before painting.
The product is also suitable for pre-cleaning old paint surfaces before water rinsing and painting.
- Coverage: Approx. 10-15 m²/liter of diluted detergent. (Dilution 1:4 with water, in which case 1 liter of undiluted detergent is enough to wash approx. 50-60 m².)
- Dilution: 1 part RK Sheet Wash and 4 parts water.
- Instructions for use: Before use, dilute 1 part Sheet Wash with 4 parts water. Loose paint from previously painted surfaces must be removed with a scraper or paint remover. Rust removal to degree St2 is carried out by wire brushing. The detergent is applied to the surface to be cleaned and the washing is carried out by brushing carefully. Surfaces treated with sheet metal washing must be rinsed carefully with water before the detergent dries. Warm water is preferably used for rinsing. The surfaces are allowed to dry before painting.
