The Zippo hand warmer runs on gasoline and comes with a bag that you can put inside a glove or in a pocket. Refuel the hand warmer with Zippo gas. With one full charge, it heats for about 12 hours. After ignition, the heat is generated by a catalytic process without a flame, so the hand warmer is safe to use.
Filling instructions: Remove the hand warmer cover and then remove the catalytic burner from the body, holding it lengthwise. Pour Zippo fuel into the filling jug, do not spill. Fill the filling container to the lower line (approx. 6 h of heating), or to the upper (approx. 12 h). Do not overfill. When using for the first time, fill the Zippo hand warmer with two (2) fuel containers. Pour the contents of the filling jug into the opening of the catalytic burner. Carefully wipe any spilled fuel from the heater surfaces and allow the excess fuel to evaporate. Finally, carefully place the catalytic burner in place. Before lighting, make sure that no fuel has spilled into the environment.
Lighting instructions: With one hand firmly hold the body of the heater with the lid off, and with the other hand place the flame in the catalytic burner for 3-5 seconds. For example, use a Zippo lighter. Keep hands and clothing away from flames. Put the cover back in place and put the hand warmer in the bag that came with it. Heating cannot be interrupted after ignition. If you don't want to continue heating, place the hand warmer in its bag on a non-combustible surface and leave it until the fuel has burned out and the heater has cooled down.
Use the Zippo hand warmer only inside the bag provided. If the hand warmer is removed from the bag during use, it may cause burns to bare skin. Do not remove the hand warmer from the bag or touch the burner while the warmer is in operation.
