The background of WRC Generations is years of cooperation with legendary rally drivers, with the help of which the whole has been made as believable, realistic and multidimensional game experience as possible.
The cooperation can be seen in many different ways in the game, and in accordance with the wishes of both critics and the gaming community, there are significant reforms and improvements. Now, for example, hybrid cars are included, i.e. torque familiar from electric cars as part of the power of combustion engine-driven cars. This brings contemporary authenticity both in terms of drivability and physics, as well as the sound world of the cars.
In addition to the new car models, there is an impressive selection of vehicles from previous years, but now even more detailed and wonderfully executed. In total, no less than 37 different legendary rally cars are included, each of which has been accurately modeled as part of the full rally experience of the game world.
All of this year's 13 different rally races and nine other venues in no less than 22 different countries are also included. In total, there are a whopping 165 different special tests, which is the most in the entire driving game genre! The completely new Sweden Rally, which is the only race of the Games to be driven on snowy routes, brings something special to the Games.
WRC Generations offers a lot to play, both as a single game and in various multiplayer experiences. On the single-player side, the most significant is the career game format, which is focused on career and team development, where the player can create his own competition history by leading his team and winning various races. New hybrid car models are also a significant part of this game format.
The league mode offers the opportunity to measure yourself against other drivers in daily and weekly race challenges, and progress in the points lists according to your success. Alternatively, through the team function, players can create their own driving team and complete ever-present challenges as they progress. In addition, the game's own sticker tool is included, which allows players to create their own patterns and stickers for their cars. Now these different stickers can also be easily shared with other drivers.
The whole is completed by the co-driver mode, which offers relaxing driving races, where players can practice for the races either on a split screen next to the same gaming machine or alternatively via an internet connection as an online game.
