To play this add-on, you need the base game Ticket To Ride Europe, Ticket to Ride (USA) or Ticket to Ride Northern Lights.
On the Iberian Peninsula, players start the game by taking six destination cards and keeping four of them - this process is repeated before the train deck runs out for the first time. When you try to fill these eight destination cards with only 35 trains, you can potentially pick up festival cards along the way. There are 54 festival cards in the deck, and when one card is drawn, you place it next to the city on the game board. If you build a route that connects to one or two cities that have festival cards, you'll pick one of those cities and collect all festival cards near it. The more you collect from the city, the more valuable they are at the end of the game!
In South Korea, you start the game like in the Iberian game by taking six target cards and holding four of them. All routes are grouped by color: blue for the northeast, yellow for the northwest, and so on. When you claim a route, you can also place one of your trains on an empty space of the corresponding color on the province mat, showing the number of cards of the same color you played; you can play more cards than needed to redeem the route if you want to place a larger number of cards. Additionally, each player has a set of express train cards (+1, +2, +3) and you can use a card on your turn to either get more train cards, get more destination tickets, or get more routes on the county mat. At the end of the game, rate each suit on the county mat, and the player (or players) with the highest required sum of values earns bonus points.
Includes rules, e.g. In Finnish, Swedish and English.
