TELESTAR DIRA S 21i+ has everything a modern multi-function radio needs: it receives DAB+ and FM radio stations, has access to over 25,000 Internet radio stations and offers access to a variety of music streaming services.
The device supports EWF radio alerting and Journaline radio text over DAB+.
EWF is an alerting system based on the DAB+ broadcast network that sends warning messages in the event of a disaster to DAB+ radios capable of EWF, unhindered and in seconds.
The radios switch to alert mode from either the current programme or standby mode, warning listeners of potential danger*.
UPnP, Bluetooth and USB allow music to be played from external devices.
The 2.4" (6.1 cm) TFT colour display visualises the DIRA S 21i+ with a clear menu and provides useful background information (e.g. station or headline information, current weather information).
Two 3'' speakers, each with a power of 15 W, produce full stereo sound that can be adjusted to individual listening preferences thanks to the equalizer.
USB recording function, multilingual menu navigation, alarm clock, favourites lists and sleep timer complete the radio's range of functions and make the TELESTAR DIRA S 21i+ the perfect multifunctional radio.

To receive not only actual emergency alerts but also test alerts via EWF, set your DIRA S 21i+ to the following:
Open the menu
Open the "SYSTEM" menu
Go to the "EWF Settings" submenu.
Under "ON/OFF", activate the "Alarm+Test ON" item.
Under "Set Journaline", you can also activate the text service for alert messages.
