The thin spelled flake is flattened from a whole spelled grain and has not been processed in any other way. It goes well with porridge. You can also use it to replace some of the other flour when you bake, for example, rolls, bread or pizza and pie bases. Spelled flakes also work as breadcrumbs, toasted in muesli and as part of steak and round dough. When baking with spelled, the dough is left looser than normal - you can replace any other flour either partially or completely. Spelled is a tasty and nutritious native grain.
