Excellently durable, easy-to-use binoculars have a quick-to-use focusing system and sharp optics. Available in four versions; 10x42, 8x42, 10x32 and 8x32. A suitable combination of magnification factor and brightness is available for each purpose.
Durable, comfortable to use and lightweight The excellent ergonomics of the Steiner SkyHawk 4.0 binoculars is based on durable non-slip rubber coating and precisely made finger recesses that provide an excellent grip in all weather conditions. The eyecups are made of soft, skin-friendly silicone and designed to prevent light coming from the side from interfering with viewing. The eyecups can also be turned down for wearing glasses.
Nitrogen-filled optics reduce lens fogging even in extreme conditions. SkyHawk 4.0 lenses are designed for use in temperatures from -20 °C to +70 °C. In addition, SkyHawk's roof prism structure makes the binoculars of the series compact and lightweight, thanks to which they can easily be taken with you on the trip and will happily go on even the longest group trips.
As the weather condition and the level of requirements increase, the SkyHawk 4.0 meets the challenge. The frame of the binoculars is made of durable Makrolon® polycarbonate material and is waterproof up to a depth of three meters. The thick and durable rubber coating is scratch- and oil-resistant and withstands heavy use for a long time without leaving marks.
Quick-use focusing system The fast focusing system makes tracking moving objects easier. The focusing wheel in the middle of the SkyHawk 4.0 binoculars requires only a small movement to move the focus from a close distance (from 2 meters) to infinity, and it can also be preset to the desired focus to which you want to return quickly.
8x32 The 8x32 model is excellently suited for mobile bird and nature watching thanks to its lightness, good magnification ratio and wide image area. Also perfectly suited for long-term monitoring.
8x42 The 8x42 SkyHawk 4.0 is a versatile and popular compact and lightweight binocular. Thanks to its wide image area and excellent light output, as well as good ergonomics, it is a popular choice for demanding users.
10x32 10x magnification enables observation from longer distances and reveals the details of the terrain. Very general-purpose binoculars thanks to its brightness and optical performance.
10x42 Near and far, the SkyHawk 4.0 with 10x magnification and 42mm lens provides a bright, sharp image and is excellent for viewing detailed objects from long distances, such as open terrain and hilltops.
