AUTHENTIC GAME FEEL
In dual stick controls, each stick represents one of your feet. You have to learn to control them and shift your weight, just like on a real skateboard. The development of the game's physics has focused on realism, fluidity and immersion. Just like in real life, the first few lessons as a beginner skater can seem challenging, but once you get the hang of the technique, you'll experience the boundless joy of your first kickflip! Session: Skate Sim also includes full customization options so you can enjoy the perfect experience tailored just for you. A comprehensive tutorial gives you all the help you need to get started, and you can choose from four difficulty levels!
THE 1990'S AND SKATE CULTURE
Inspired by the golden age of street cooking – the 1990s – Session: Skate Sim lets you experience real skating and its culture: no scoring, just you, your place and your imagination! You don't need any judges to tell you that a noseslide or a varial heelflip would be perfect for this spot. And since certain locations are now iconic, the developers added many to the game so you can express your creativity by skating: Black Hubbas (New York), Brooklyn Benches (New York), FDR Park (Philadelphia) and many others.
"IF IT WASN'T CAPTURED ON VIDEO, IT DIDN'T HAPPEN"
Doing the best tricks in the best places is great, but if no one is filming it, it didn't really happen... In Session: Skate Sim, you can shoot with a 1990s filter or fisheye lens and compile your clips with a video editor to share. You can edit numerous settings, such as field of view, time of day, filters and different camera angles (tripod, orbit, etc.). In addition, Session: Skate Sim offers the possibility to change from a skater to a filmmaker: first do your trick and then switch to film mode, so you can experience the charm of speed from the cameraman's point of view and create the best clip.
