The robust reel is equipped with a 4+1 stainless bearing system, which, together with the sturdy mechanism, guarantees smooth operation. Kela's powerful King Size Gearing gearing is significantly larger than traditional ones and it produces significantly more winding power. With the King Size gearing, the reel's brake system is also really large, and the braking surface is up to half more than in normally similar-sized reels!
The precisely adjustable multi-disc carbon fiber brake of the Patriot® Baltic Salmon reel works in all conditions and with a wide adjustment range. The reel is also equipped with an accurate and easy-to-use line counter, which lets you know exactly how many meters of line are out.
