The player has a built-in 500 GB hard drive and can also be connected to an external USB drive for additional storage. A time-shift function allows you to pause the TV picture, for example during a phone call. The DMR-BCT76 has up to five times longer recording time than its predecessors.
The Panasonic DMR-BCT76 also works great as a music player, as it is designed to produce HRA-level audio. The player can play DSD (5.6 MHz / 2.8 MHz) and ALAC music files.
