Nordspa ArcticShield 218 is an additional insulating cover covering the entire outdoor pool, providing premium level protection for both the pool and the deck. It provides effective protection against rain, snow, ice and harmful UV rays and significantly reduces heating costs. The triple-layer construction of the cover is specifically designed for northern conditions where minimizing heat loss and material durability are of paramount importance.
The cover's top is made of UV-protected and weather-resistant 600D Oxford fabric. The insulating core consists of waterproof EPE foam, which prevents heat escape and moisture absorption. The reflective aluminium surface of the protective cover returns up to 90% of the radiant heat back into the pool.
All materials are selected to withstand wide temperature variations. The insulating properties of the cover significantly reduce heating cycles, resulting in significant energy savings and more even water temperatures, especially in cold conditions.
The ArcticShiel cover is sewn into shape, so it fits snugly around the deck and pool. The bottom corners of the cover are knitted with stretch knits to ensure a snug fit. The zip around the top of the cover and the Velcro Velcro strap on the side make it easy to use. It also comes with a handy storage bag to keep the cover neat and protected when not in use.
