NiSi S6 PRO CPL for S6 150mm Holder is designed for use with the NiSi S6 150mm filter holder system. When screwed into the adapter ring of the NiSi S6 150mm filter holder, it can help reduce reflections and glare by filtering light that is polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. Light from the sun is naturally polarized in part due to the reflection of electrons from air molecules, which causes the light to break up into fog. A polarizing filter arranges and filters this directed polarized light perpendicular to the reflected light, so that a large part of this light is absorbed. This greatly reduces glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and increases the color saturation of the sky and foliage. It is made of optical glass for clarity and has an aluminum alloy filter ring for durability while being lightweight.
Note that if this is used with an older generation S5 adapter, the S6 holder frame must be used together.
