Neste small engine gasoline is a clean-burning special gasoline that has been developed to meet the requirements of small internal combustion engines. It is the best fuel for destinations where more fuel is required than usual. When it burns cleanly, it also extends the life of the engine.
Neste small motor gasoline is also a reasonable choice from the user's point of view because the fuel and the exhaust gases produced during its use are less harmful. Small motor gasoline is also excellently suitable as gasoline for storage and downtime of engines.
Small engine gasoline is intended for small engines that require excellent technical performance. It is also excellently suitable as gasoline for storage and downtime of engines.
Neste small motor gasoline 2-T is suitable for all 2-stroke air-cooled engines, such as chainsaws and clearing saws. For two-stroke boat engines, we recommend 4-T small motor gasoline and 2-stroke oil designed for boat use, e.g. Neste 2-T Marine.
Neste small motor gasoline can be used in engines where 98-octane gasoline is recommended. However, small engine gasoline does not meet the fuel requirement for small aircraft regarding the octane number, which is why it is not a permitted fuel in aviation.
Some engines (e.g. chainsaws) may require adjustment of the fuel-air ratio when the fuel quality is changed or operating temperatures change significantly. In order for the operation to be trouble-free, the adjustment must be carried out before starting work.
Small motor gasoline and car gasoline 95/98 mix well with each other and the fuel can be used in all mixing ratios. It is good to remember that the advantages of small engine gasoline decrease when the concentration of auto gasoline increases. However, the fuel always remains usable and at least of the quality of gasoline.
You can mix 2-T oil of your choice with Neste small motor gasoline 4-T. Neste small motor gasoline 2-T contains 2% of high-quality fully synthetic biodegradable Neste 2-T Super Bio oil.
Like gasoline, small engine gasoline does not contain components prone to oxidation, and if properly stored, it will last for several years. However, shelf life always depends on the storage conditions. Gasoline is best stored in a tight metal container (e.g. jerry can) and in a cool place.
However, during long storage, lighter components evaporate from the gasoline (the vapor pressure of the gasoline decreases), which can make it difficult to start. You can often revive old gasoline by adding half of fresh gasoline.
- Small motor gasoline is well suited as gasoline for storage and downtime of small engines
- Volatility optimized, retains its starting properties well
- Lasts well without effect, thanks to an additive that improves shelf life
- The corrosion protection additive protects the fuel system from corrosion
- Lowers the engine's operating temperature
- Reduces engine fouling
- Extends engine life
- The breathing air and the environment remain cleaner
- Less odors both when refueling and in exhaust gases
- The shelf life is very good both in the packaging and in the engine
