Fleas for fish
Many experienced anglers say that there is no such thing as a bad fish to eat. Improperly chosen lures are often the cause of poor catches. So what to do if the fish rejects the normal ice? Usually, reducing the size of the lure helps. In winter, finicky perches can be caught with the help of Fleas. The small, attractive-looking Fleas are unbeatable when treated with gnats or fly larvae. The easiest way to fish with Flea is to make the so-called tapspilki. Tie a vertical pole to one end of a piece of line about a meter long and a Flea to the other end. The vibrations of the vertical jig and the flashes of the side attract the fish close, where they then notice the Flea and take it. If you feel that the fish are only going to grab the bait, you should lengthen the pegs or change to a different type of Kirppu. Of course, you can also fish with Kirpu without a vertical rod. Then use a thin and durable fishing line such as Siglon V ice fishing line.
