Arrange colourful flowers, build stunning meadows and score points by cleverly grouping cards. Flowers is a beautiful and insightful card game where every decision you make affects the outcome. Match the colours, follow the placement rules and try to avoid mistakes - only thoughtfully placed flowers will flourish! The summer variant adds a fresh twist and also allows for enjoyable solo play.
Flowers consists of a deck of 108 cards, with four different colours and values from 1 to 4. Each player starts with a random card in their playing area, and the remaining cards are divided into piles: one of the piles is kept face down and the top card of the others is turned face up.
On your turn, draw a card from any pile and place it either next to an existing card on your field or on top of another card. If you pick a face-up card, the next card in that stack will be turned face up. When a player takes the last card from the stack, he places it and the game ends.
At the end of the game, every four on the field must belong to the exact group of four. The same rule applies to threes and twos. Each number one must be non-adjacent to another number one. Cards that break the rules (including those placed on top of them) are removed from the field and the player loses one point for each card removed.
After this, you will score:
For each group of five or more adjacent cards of the same suit: 1 point per card.
For each butterfly card adjacent to a card of the same colour as the butterfly: 1 point per card.
The highest scorer wins.
