Kalastajan Kanavan's Aapo perch rod has been one of the best-selling perch rods in Finland in recent years. Now the pole is upgraded even further. The name is still the familiar and safe Aapo, but the newcomer can be identified by the 2.0 mark added to the tail.
The pole is designed especially for jigging perch, but it is also suitable for other perch casting lures such as lips, small walleyes and even spintails. The rod is excellently balanced and light to use. Its sensitive tip grips and holds perch well all the way to the boat. With its powerful core, it's a great rod for catching perch up to a kilo. You can also bring home a bigger pike, but you need to be patient and follow the fish's movements.
The rod is designed for 1000-2000 class haspel or open fish.
The new Aapo 2.0 features a slightly stiffer blank, which gives you more casting distance and more accurate casting, especially at the top end of the lure weight. The new reel seat is perfect for different sized hands. The colour of the rod is blacker than before, but the recognisable Fisherman's Canal turquoise has been retained on the tip. The end of the rod, the butt and the rear handle have also been redesigned. The Eva handle gives a really comfortable grip and the rod doesn't rattle on the boat floor.
The rod is still great for inexperienced anglers and for children and young people as a first rod, but after the redesigns the rod will certainly fit in the hands of more and more experts.
