The top resolution of the screen is impressive (1920 x 1200), with a very good contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a brightness of 300 cd/m². For example, you can edit graphics and images down to the pixel. As an added benefit, text outlines are clear and precise. The LCD panel and IPS panel allow a viewing angle of 178 degrees. Ensuring that tone and contrast remain constant for the viewer. The CS2400R's LUT (look-up-table) uses internal calculations at 16 bits to achieve ultra-high colour depth and sends signals up to 10 bits long. This provides billions of shades for accurate display computation, effectively preventing display errors such as lines or clipping that can cause tone breaks in sliding colors or unnecessary colors in grayscale. Even subtle nuances and textures in dark or highly saturated areas of the image can be displayed with distinct and detailed detail. Each ColorEdge CS2400R is individually measured and optimally configured at the factory for use right out of the box. To this end, the gamma curves for the red, green and blue channels are carefully checked and corrected if necessary. This unique EIZO factory calibration allows the user to start using the monitor in the pre-set scale range right out of the box. This careful factory calibration ensures that the user can quickly recalibrate the display using ColorNavigator if necessary. Each individual display panel is accurately measured over its entire surface at the EIZO factory. Any brightness inhomogeneity and unnecessary colours are detected and removed. This process (Digital Uniformity Equalizer) ensures that identical colours always look the same throughout the lifetime of the display, regardless of where they are displayed. Only in this way is accurate image processing and retouching possible. Each ColorEdge CS2400R comes with a unique calibration report that shows the results of the display's factory calibration measurements.
