Folded up, the DJI Mini 3 is the same length, width and weight as the iPhone 14 Pro Max smartphone. Alternatively, the mini is about the size of a small soda can, but much lighter at 249 grams. This makes it easy to take with you wherever you go and send it flying from the palm of your hand. Despite its small size, it can withstand strong winds (10.7 m/s) and can fly for up to 38 minutes at a time on a single standard battery.

The camera can shoot ultra-high definition 4K HDR video at 30 frames per second or 12 megapixel stills. The camera uses a high-quality 1/1.3-inch CMOS image sensor and a high-speed f/1.7 lens. A high-quality gimbal prevents blur caused by wind and the helicopter's own motion, keeping footage sharp. A variety of shooting modes and flight automation make shooting effortless, even for beginners. The camera's gimbal also rotates 90 degrees, allowing the helicopter to capture vertical images with ease. The DJI Mini 3 ( DJI RC) comes with a DJI RC controller with a 5.5" screen.
