The fluid-bearing joints of the SIRUI VH-15 Professional Fluid Video Head provide unprecedented softness for panning and tilting. The pan resistance is pre-adjusted to produce the smoothest possible result, and the tilt resistance has stepless friction control to help balance the size of different video camera systems.
The spring-assisted counterweight mechanism (4kg) helps keep the head in place as long as the camera is properly balanced on the head - the head remains in the set position without moving, which provides additional support and improved tilt control. As you add resistance to the friction control, the tilt stabilizes and control improves.
To make it easier to position the head horizontally, there are two spirit levels, one at the bottom of the head to position the tripod, and the other at the top of the video head to help align the camera.
