The Benelli NOVA 3 pump-action shotgun has a new design; in particular, the rear and front stocks and the trigger guard differ from the previous model (Nova 12/89). In the Nova 3 model, the receiver and stock are also a single piece. The receiver is made of technopolymer and reinforced with steel. The receiver is ready for the installation of a Picatinny rail. By pressing the "mag stop" button on the front stock, the cartridge chamber can be emptied without feeding a new one from the magazine, allowing the user to move safely over obstacles in the terrain while still having the weapon ready for use. In addition, the "mag stop" button allows for quick replacement of different cartridges in the cartridge chamber. The drop of the buttock in relation to the sight line is 41/62 (drop at comp/heel). The drop of the buttock cannot be adjusted. The standard pull length is 360 mm, and the butt plate is a soft, 2.5 cm thick polyurethane butt plate with lip attachments. Accessories include +1 cm and -1 cm thick butt plates that can be used to adjust the pull in the desired direction. The barrel is a 28" long magnum interchoke barrel with a raised forest rail. The front sight is a red fiber sight. The standard delivery includes three internal chokes (*Full, ***Mod, and ****IC). An extended magazine is also available for the gun. The gun has a caliber of 12/76 and weighs 3.0 kg.
