The new Benelli Black Eagle is the "little brother" of the Super Black Eagle 3. The gun is 12/76 calibre and has many of the same great features as the SBE3. The Black Eagle has a Comfortech3 stock, Crio-barrel and Crio-replacement suppressors. The standard delivery includes 5 inside changeover nozzles, 3 of which are fully inside and 2 are inside/outside with a spindle. Black EagleMax-7 is a camo patterned shotgun
Black Eagle is suitable for all shotgun hunting. The lower part of the gun's breech frame is made of ERGAL and the upper, loose cover part is also made of ERGAL. On the right side of the breech frame is the model name BLACK EAGLE.
The barrel is made 100% in Italy from Italian nickel-chromium-molybdenum special steel and both the barrel and the suppressors are cold-worked. The barrel rail is a raised forest rail. The front sight of the barrel is a red fibre sight. The chamber length is 76mm (3″) and the gun is suitable for standard and magnum cartridges. The barrel reducers are cold worked 7cm/9cm long Crio reducers.
ModelComfortech 3-shot Benelli patented split frame to reduce recoil in the gun. The Comfortech 3-supports are made of durable fibreglass reinforced plastic (Rilsan). The stock has thirteen synthetic recoil absorbing "boomerangs" running through the butt. Thanks to the polyurethane rear plate developed by Benelli, the new softer Comptech cheekpad and the Comfortech support, the recoil sensation has been reduced by tens of percent. Barrel rise has also been significantly reduced, making it quicker to refocus the gun. The forend and forend plug have been redesigned and the ergonomics of the forend ensure an optimal and balanced grip.
The Black Eagle model's trigger guard has been redesigned to ensure the gun is easy to use. The gun has a two-piece spring-loaded cartridge holder plate,
which makes feeding cartridges into the magazine lighter and removing them from the magazine (from below) much easier and more user-friendly than, for example, in the m2 model.The Easy Locking lock, familiar from the Raffaello-13 series, is rotated to the end, even if the lock is closed quietly by hand. The cocking lever and the lock closing button are larger than on the m2 model.
The drop of the barrel is adjustable by means of the standard rear adjustment pieces to 50-64 mm from the sight line and the bend can be changed to suit either right or left hand shooters. The standard baseplate of the Takatuk is 2.5cm thick. With the standard rear plate fitted, the gun has a length of pull of 365mm. Optional longer (+1cm) and shorter (-1cm) rear plates are available. The design of the gun allows for the installation of extension kits. Black Eagle series guns are supplied in a black plastic carrying case.
