Assassins Creed Valhalla takes players to the Viking Age and tells the story of the Viking warrior Eivor. Set in the 8th century, the game presents a wonderful, open and lively game world that brings together both the raiding expeditions of the Vikings and the dark and bloody era of England.
The game brings new features to the series, such as the ability to organize your own raids and establish your own settler community in a new country. By strengthening your own community, the influence of the region led by the player also increases.
Eivor, controlled by the player, can be a male or female fighter, depending on the player's choice. You can also customize your own character in many ways in terms of hairstyles, tattoos, war paintings and equipment to embody your own style. In addition, the player represents his own character in various decisions that affect the future of his own society.
Different decisions in battle, politics and discussions each take the story in its own direction.
Eivor, departing from Norway, leads his troops through the icy sea towards the green lands and green fields of England. England, made up of broken kingdoms, is indeed the most welcoming environment for capable Vikings who, in addition to farming and looting, also know the noble art of fighting. At the same time, the game mechanics cover an even more versatile two-weapon fighting technique, which enables the use of different fighting styles. In addition, the player can use the forces of his Viking ships to conquer different areas and collect these riches. However, the opposing Saxons, such as King Aelfred of Wessex, do not let the Vikings go easy, but condemn these settlers as godless pagans. Eivor must do everything for the survival of his people.
