The Lightning to digital AV adapter can be connected to an iPhone, iPad or iPod using the Lightning connector. The Lightning digital AV adapter supports mirroring of the device's on-screen content (including programs, shows, websites, and slideshows) to an HDMI-compatible TV, monitor, projector, or other compatible display in up to 1080p HD resolution.
It also works as an output for video content (movies, TV shows and recorded video) to a larger screen in up to 1080p HD resolution. Connect the Lightning to Digital AV Adapter to the device's Lightning connector, then connect to a TV or projector with an HDMI cable (sold separately).
