Even more fun is coming to the Flower Kingdom! Whether you’re looking for new ways to play together or new content for single-player mode, you’ll find it all in Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park, coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 console on March 26.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park brings a new co-op and competitive game mode to Flower Kingdom, along with other new content and improvements designed specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2. Gather your friends and family and visit Bellabel Park, a new area in Flower Kingdom featuring two large plazas filled with attractions. Work together or face off against others in challenges like Fast Cash: Tip Tap’s Coin Spree, where you collect as many gold coins as possible, or Knock ’em Back: Bubble Blaster, where you battle to survive with the most lives remaining at the end.
Local Multiplayer Plaza features 17 different attractions that you can play with up to three friends on the same console¹. The game supports GameShare, so if one player owns the game, they can share it locally with up to three other players. You can also visit Game Room Plaza, which supports online and local wireless play. There, each player needs their own console to play locally or online and joins the action from their own screen. Up to 12 friends can compete against each other in Game Room Plaza’s six additional attractions.
Other new features:
Toad Brigade Training Camp – In Bellabel Park, you can also put your skills to the test in a wide variety of challenges set across the levels of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. As you progress through the main game, you’ll gain access to even more training grounds from across the Flower Kingdom. Complete the training sessions alone or team up with up to three other players to achieve the objectives, climb the Toad Brigade rankings, and aim to become the top explorer.
Assist Mode – Are you new to Super Mario Bros. Wonder? Help is readily available. When this mode is active while playing levels, you’ll be able to quickly recover from unexpected falls into pits without losing a life, or avoid taking damage no matter which character you’re playing as.
Familiar Faces – This new version brings none other than Rosalina to the Flower Kingdom for the first time. And she’s not alone—Co-Star Luma is also included as a helper character, available when at least two players are playing together. Luma doesn’t take damage, but can help other players by spinning to knock down enemies and collect coins on the courses. You can control Luma using the Nintendo Switch 2’s mouse controls.
Trick-playing enemies – While Rosalina and Luma are welcome guests, you might feel a bit differently about the Koopalings, who bring a bit of chaos with them. After the seven Koopalings steal the treasure hidden in Bellabel Park, they flee to different worlds within Flower Kingdom. Keep your eyes peeled, because if you run into one of them, you’ll have to head to their stage and battle them.
