Reversible back handle The reversible handle guarantees an individual and good grip for each user - for easy and reliable use. The hedge trimmer can also be used without problems by left-handed people. Pictured is HS 81 R/T.
Cutting blades in teardrop shape Double-sided cutting blades with STIHL blade geometry for optimal cutting results. The teardrop shape of the cutting blades helps the branches stay in the grip of the hedge trimmer so that a good cutting result is obtained. The 200 mm cutting length is perfect for pruning and caring for conifer hedges and small-leaved ornamental trees.
Vibration damping system A person who is exposed to long-term vibration, for example engine vibration, can suffer from circulatory disorders in the hands and arms. Transport position It is possible to lock the battery in the device in two different positions. In the first position, transport position, the battery is firmly attached to the device, but not in contact with the power supply. In the second position, the operating position, the battery is pressed all the way to the bottom, when the battery supplies power to the device.
Blade system In a double-toothed blade, the single-sided sharpened blade gives a clean and fine cut. The sharpening angle (32°) provides optimal cutting performance. Thanks to the shaped blades, branches up to 8 mm thick can be cut effortlessly.
Blade guard Protects the cutting blade and the environment during storage or transport of the hedge trimmer.
Two-handed use When the hedge trimmer is in your hand with both hands, it is easy and quick to start. The rear handle allows you to adjust the cutting speed steplessly - nicely and neatly. Very practical. Two-handed use is equally easy for left- and right-handed people.
