The Racer EcoTech H ankle boots maximise the use of recycled materials. The safety footwear has an aluminium toe guard and textile collar protector. The upper is highly breathable and wear-resistant thanks to its woven textile structure. The Sievi FastLace™ fastening mechanism offers a quick and comfortable way to put the shoes on. The soft Sievi Green Comfort insole adds to the comfort of use.

Sievi has proven thatsafety, quality and responsibility can go hand in hand. An example of this is the Racer EcoTech® safety footwear, which takes special account of recycled materials without neglecting safety.

Sievi products that use recycled materials will be available in the future under the SieviGreen concept. The first collection of recycled footwear under the SieviGreen concept will be called Racer EcoTech®. The design is based on the idea of increasing the use of recycled materials and finding new, less environmentally damaging solutions for the production of safety footwear. Sievi is actively working with its suppliers to continually look for more opportunities to continuously increase the use of recycled materials in the future.

Racer EcoTech® footwear features the new Sievi FastLace™ fastening mechanism, with its flexible laces and easy-to-use mechanism providing an unprecedented fast and comfortable way to put on shoes. The safety footwear is equipped with aluminium toe protection and composite textile collar protection. The upper material is highly breathable and wear-resistant thanks to its woven textile structure.

The new ultra-soft Sievi Green Comfort insole is made from 67% recycled materials by weight of the insole materials. The surface material of the insole is highly abrasion-resistant polyamide, which transfers moisture from the surface of the foot to the lower layer of the insole. Activated carbon and silver thread eliminate microbial growth, making the insole antibacterial and odourless. The design of the insole keeps the foot's own fat pad in an optimal position and the insole moulds instantly to the foot, returning to its original shape after use. The insole is anti-static and ESD compliant, breathable and constant40˚C.
