The Schuberth SRC-System is a new, easy-to-install intercom system for Schuberth helmets. The range of the device is up to 300 meters in good conditions. The device allows intercom use between three users. A mobile phone and a navigator can be connected to the device, and it also has a built-in RDS radio and a USB port for an mp3 player. The device understands voice commands according to the VOX standard.
Installing the device is easy: the current acoustic "collar" of the helmet is removed and a new collar containing all the technology is inserted. Since nothing needs to be attached to the outside of the helmet, the device does not increase air resistance or cause disturbing noise at higher speeds. The device automatically adjusts the volume to the prevailing noise level, and filters disturbing frequencies.
