Natura Media's Zn1 Zinc + Phytase contains 25 mg of zinc bisglycinate in one plant capsule. The trace elements needed by the body exist in different forms, some of which have better absorption in the body and thus usability than others. This high quality form of zinc has very good absorption. The preparation also contains phytase enzyme 50 units (FTU) in one capsule, as well as domestic sprouted hemp seed protein. The product is manufactured in Finland. Zinc is a metal, an element and a trace element necessary for the body. Its effects on the body are versatile, e.g. for the immune system, fertility, vision, bones, skin, hair, nails, metabolism, brain function and DNA synthesis - the list is therefore huge! The phytase enzyme breaks down the phytic acid contained in plant products. Phytic acid is a phosphorus compound that is especially abundant in grains, legumes, nuts and seeds. Phytic acid helps, for example, the seed or grain to chelate, i.e. to store minerals such as iron, selenium and calcium in an unreleased form, until they are released when the seed germinates. Therefore, soaking, sprouting and fermentation are popular ways to reduce the amount of phytic acid. The phytase enzyme also works in the same way. The phytase enzyme in Zn1 Zinc + Phytase capsules is produced by natural fermentation. Natura Media's Zn1 Zinc + Phytase is a vegan product that does not contain gluten, soy, milk or eggs.
