Fourth place and a fantastic 8.6 points in Tuulilas' big summer tyre test
The Nankang Sportnex AS-2+ came in an excellent fourth place in Tuulilas' tyre test (Tuulilasi 3/2017). The Nankang performed particularly well in rainy weather. Tuulilasi said of the Nankang: "The good wet grip is particularly pleasing. The Nankang also performed very well in other areas, scoring at least an eight in every measurement. As a result of this steady performance, the overall score was only half a point off the test win. "The affordable Nankang surprised with its improved handling."
The Nankang was clearly the most affordable tyre in the test, a fact that also caught the attention of Tuulilasi. Tuulilasi reported that the Nankang was up to €50 cheaper than the second cheapest tyre in the test and the most expensive tyre was as much as 79% more expensive than the Nankang. Despite this, the Nankang was an excellent fourth in the test, just half a point off the test win. However, the fact that the price was substantially lower than the others was not taken into account in the scoring.

The Nankang Sportnex AS-2+ is a real winner in the Tekniikan Welt (8/2016) summer tyre test, performing very well among the significantly more expensive brand tyres. In the final result, the difference between Nankang and Michelin is only 0.4 points. The Nankang scores 8.1 and the Michelin 8.5.
