Meira Fine sea salt is obtained from salty seawater in the Mediterranean region by evaporating the water with the heat of the sun and cleaning the remaining salt. Due to the drying method, all natural minerals and trace elements are preserved in sea salt as well as possible. Iodized fine sea salt has a strong and aromatic taste. It is suitable for all cooking, and especially well for the preparation, fresh salting and preservation of fish and seafood dishes. Iodine is added to iodized fine sea salt in the form of potassium iodide. One kilogram of salt contains 25 mg of iodine.
