The 40 V hedge trimmer with a carbon brushless motor and ergonomic handles belongs to Makita's XGT product family.
The handles are positioned at a 90 degree angle to the line of the blade as close as possible to the center line of the blade. This has reduced the strain on the user. The blade is double-sided and equipped with a top collector, the result is a neat mark when cutting both on top and from the side of the bush.
