About the product

The Makita GA055GZ is a powerful and versatile 40V XGT battery powered low profile angle grinder designed for professional and demanding users. Its compact design, reduced head angle and carefully considered styling make it easy to work in tight and challenging spaces, such as weld seam removal or corners of steel frame structures.The carbon brushless motor ensures high performance. Infinitely variable speed control helps to adapt the speed to different machining needs. Easy installation or removal of the spade guard without tools.

Thanks to the low profile, working at an angle of up to 39° is possible, opening up completely new possibilities in recesses and corners.

Safety is enhanced by AFT (Active Feedback Sensing Technology) technology, which immediately stops the motor in the event of a spike jamming or a sudden drop in rotation speed, and an electronic spike brake and restart prevention function, which prevents the motor from starting if the battery is inserted into the tool with the switch locked.

The tool also features enhanced dust and water resistance XPT (Extreme Protection Technology), allowing it to be used in challenging conditions.
