The hand circular saw is very compact and lightweight thanks to the carbon brushless motor and magnesium cast table and blade guard. The length of the machine is 350mm, the height is 238mm and the width of the device is only 170mm. The machine weighs a measly 3.3 kilos with the battery!
Thanks to Makita's Li-ion batteries and low-power carbon brushless motor, you can work with the DHS680 for a long time without constantly changing batteries. The saw uses a 165mm blade with a 20mm hole diameter. The maximum cutting capacity of the hand circular saw at 90 degrees is 57 mm and at 45 degrees 41 mm.
The cordless circular saw has a unique automatic speed control, which sets the speed correctly according to the working situation. When the machine is heavily loaded, the rpm drops to a level that the electronic unit can keep stable under load. In the event of an overload, the device is automatically stopped.
