The compact and handy DC18SJ charger is easy to carry around, for example in a car. The USB-C PD cable supplied can be plugged directly into a USB-C port, or an adapter can be used either when connecting to the mains or to a car’s 12 V cigarette lighter socket with the ADP14 adapter (sold separately).
The charging power is determined by the maximum power output allowed by the power source and adapter in use, and is either 60, 80 or 100 W. For example, the BL1850B battery (5.0 Ah) charges from empty to full in 84 minutes at the full 100 W power output, and in 120 minutes at 60 W.
