K2 Siltec is a high-quality, elastic, oxime-based sealant with a wide temperature range of -60 to +300 °C. It does not cause corrosion. Resistant to vibration, oil, grease, petrol, coolant and water. An excellent alternative to solid gaskets.
Suitable applications: oil sumps, valve covers, water or oil pumps, gearbox housings, drive shaft housings, thermostat housings, camshaft housings, differential housings, flange joints.
- Working time 8–12 minutes
- Full curing time: 3 mm/24 h
- Operating temperature: +5 °C – +30 °C
Instructions for use:1. Remove any residue from old sealants.
2. Clean and degrease the surfaces to be sealed.
3. Apply the sealant evenly and consistently to one side.
4. Refit the part to be sealed immediately after applying the sealant. Close the tube with the sealant immediately after use.
