In a joint, articular cartilage acts as a shock absorber between two bones. As you get older, the articular cartilage becomes thinner and more fragile, and the synovial fluid that lubricates the joint decreases, which causes e.g. joint stiffness. Articular cartilage consists of cartilage cells and various cartilage proteins. Glucosamine is the basic building block of cartilage protein and synovial fluid.
Ingredients : Glucosamine sulfate (from crustacean), bulking agents (microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose), vitamin C (ascorbic acid), glazing agents (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, isomalt, magnesium salts of fatty acids), colorant (calcium carbonate), anti-caking agent (silicon dioxide).
Dosage : For adults, 1-2 tablets a day are swallowed with water. If necessary, the tablet can be cut in half.
Amount of active ingredients / 1-2 tablets:
Glucosamine sulfate 750-1500 mg,
- of which glucosamine 600-1200 mg.
Vitamin C 50-100 mg.
Not for children, pregnant or lactating women.
