The new AT Gold 8.5x11" DD metal detector is designed to find even the smallest nuggets of gold in the most challenging environments, even in shallow waters.
At Gold operates at high frequencies, and is thus optimized for gold prospecting. The device has a real All Metal mode. All Metal mode is recommended for gold prospecting as it allows for the best depth and sensitivity. With it, the user also gets continuous sound feedback, on the basis of which it is possible to distinguish even fine sounds from wobbly and tiny bits.
AT Gold is a Motion All Metal finder, which means that moving the coil from side to side is required for the device to detect targets - although static detection of targets is also possible using Pinpoint mode. At Gold includes manually adjustable and automatic ground noise removal, as well as a Ground Balance Window feature that optimizes the detector's performance in highly mineralized conditions where gold is usually found. AT Gold is also waterproof to a maximum depth of 3 meters, for use in fresh inland waters, lakes and streams.
In addition to a true All Metal mode, the AT Gold includes two discrimination modes, making it a capable device for coin and relic hunting. Either DISC 1 or DISC 2 modes can be selected, with which the user gets more voice feedback from objects, in addition to the modes that can be used to remove unwanted objects such as nails, foil, and bottle caps.
When in use, please note that metal detectors are very sensitive devices that react, for example, to the running wires of a robotic lawnmower from a distance of 20 meters.
