The compact Alpha 10 hand-held device with multi-satellite connection offers versatile hunting possibilities. It is suitable for use as a stand-alone unit or paired with a compatible smartphone or other Garmin device. When the handheld device is paired with the T 5 dog collar, it can track up to 20 dogs up to 14.5 km away. Location information is updated every 2.5 seconds. When the Alpha 10 hand-held device is paired with other compatible hand-held devices, it is also easy to check the location of hunting buddies. You can stay in the forest even longer, because the device's battery lasts up to a week. By pairing the Alpha 10 device with the Garmin DriveTrack™ car navigator, you can follow the dogs' movements from the car. Tracking data can also be viewed directly on the screen of selected Garmin smart watches after pairing the devices. In the Garmin Explore™ application, after the hunting trip, you can view the tracking data of the dogs and evaluate how well the trip went.

Alpha® 10 works together with T5 dog devices - tracks up to 20 dogs at a distance of up to 10 kilometers with an update interval of 2.50 seconds.
MULTIPLE GNSS SYSTEMS SUPPORT
By using several global satellite systems (GPS and Galileo), tracking is also possible in more challenging environments than with the GPS system alone.
