- Painting conditions: The treated surface must be dry. During the drying of the painting, the temperature of the oil, air and surface must be above +5 ºC and the relative humidity of the air must be below 80%. The moisture content of the wood must be below 18%. If the temperature is lower and the relative humidity of the air is higher, the drying time will be longer. Under normal conditions, the treated surface reaches wear resistance after about a week. Pressure-impregnated wood is often damp, so we recommend its surface treatment six months after installation at the earliest.
