Connecting rope assembly for fall protection in work use. Assembled ready for use, easy to use, smooth moving and durable. Additional certified for users up to 140 kg. Also tested for falling over a sharp edge in horizontal use according to PPE-R/11.075. Delivered with a transport bag (from lengths of 10 m).
A fall arrest system according to EN353-2 and a work positioning rope according to EN358. Automatic lock rings reduce the possibility of incorrect use and the smooth Key Lock gates make the use of lock rings efficient and pleasant. The rope can always be changed as needed by getting a replacement rope of the desired length, and it is also possible to shorten the rope to the desired length (read the instructions for use).
The set includes:
- Edelrid - rope-moving, fall-arresting rope gripper / adjustment device equipped with 140 shock absorbers
- Edelrid DSG Triton auto-locking fastener to connect the rope to the anchor point
- Edelrid Oval Power three-function auto-locking locking ring with which the shock absorber is connected to the harness
- Edelrid 11 mm core rope - Ombilix 140 is available in several different lengths
- Edelrid transport bag for rope
The flexible and easy-to-handle modern core rope has a factory-sewn closing loop at the top, whose cover protects the rope, keeps the fastener in the correct, safest position, and facilitates handling. The cover is removable, so it is easy to check the stitches. A factory-sewn finishing loop increases the breaking strength of the rope compared to a finishing made with a knot.
Maximum life: Rope and shock absorber: 14 years (= 4 years of storage + 10 years of use). Metal products: Unlimited. EN 353-2, EN 358, PPE-R/11.075.
