Chinese wood oil is a natural oil that is made from the fruit cores of the Chinese Tung tree. The molecules of Chinese wood oil are much smaller than those of other natural oils, so it can penetrate deep into the wood. Because of this, Chinese pine oil has particularly good water-repellent and anti-decay properties. Chinese wood oil provides eight times better protection against UV radiation than other natural oils.
Areas of use: Wooden furniture, piers, wooden parts of windows and doors, wooden parts of boats (above the waterline), etc. Suitable for processing all kinds of wood: pressure-saturated or non-saturated wood, precious wood; for the protection of untreated or previously treated wood.
Instructions for use: Remove any mold from the treated surface with EcoPrima Mold Remover. Brush the cleaned wood surface with Chinese wood oil until the wood no longer absorbs the oil. The oil is absorbed into the substrate and does not form a sticky surface. After a few minutes, wipe off the excess oil with a rag or sponge.
May cause an allergic skin reaction.
May be fatal if swallowed and inhaled.
Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.
