Security
The alarm function notifies you if your car is stolen (the car is started or moved). The alarm notification can be sent to one or more preset e-mail addresses or phone numbers (by text message).
Speed alert
You can also set a speed limit for the application. You will receive a notification if the speed limit you set is exceeded.
Receive warning
In order to use the positioning and alarm functions, the DEFA Link Hub unit (DA 440030) and GPS Link (DA 440037) must be installed in the car. GPS Link is placed in the vehicle and connected to the Link Hub unit.
Ask your insurance company for a possible discount when you install DEFA Link alarm and positioning functions in your car.
The DEFA Link system can be used by anyone whose home address is located in Finland, Sweden, Norway or Denmark, and in addition to this, an iPhone or Android smartphone must be used.
The following models are suitable for use with DEFA Link:
iPhone: IOS 4.3 and later models.
Android: 2.2 and later models.
The application is downloaded free of charge for iPhone from the App Store and for Android phones from the Play Store.
