Crosman's Shockwave Nitro Piston is an excellent air rifle with a gas piston mechanism that provides versatile features at an unbeatable price. The 4.5mm caliber combined with the high initial velocity brought by the Nitro Piston make this gun a very efficient and accurate rifle. The rifle has a steel rifled barrel.
Thanks to the Nitro Piston technology, the gun is up to 70% quieter than a standard similar air rifle, but still the cocking is lighter and the trigger causes less shock and noise. In addition to this, the gun also works perfectly normally even in freezing temperatures. The spring in a standard air rifle is greased with plenty of grease, which in turn causes clumping and stiffening in cold conditions. This is often reflected in poor output speed.
The gun has an adjustable two-stage trigger, a sight rail on top of the frame and standard adjustable fiber sights on the front and rear. The weapon is delivered with a Center Point 4x32mm scope with scope ring.
The rifle's stock is a well-formed all-weather stock with a double-sided cheek pack. The end plate of the log is rubber to ensure the best grip.
